AOC monitors, part of Taiwan, hopes to boost its reach in the Middle East by launching its operations in Egypt.
Speaking on the occasion of Egypt launch, Brian Liu, Vice President Sales - MEA & CIS, Central Asia, AOC said, “Since the launch of AOC last year in the Middle east region, we are aggressively investing more resources to support our channel partners in the region to expand our reach. The LCD market isevolving at a faster rate in these regions and we will be leveraging on our business partnership with I&M to drive our sales in these crucial market”.

AOC shall be bringing into Egypt its’ full line of LCD/LED monitors form 18.5” up to 27”, Green 36 series monitors including LED and also Slim Monitor TV’s with plans to introduce the latest technology applied onto the display later like 3D, touch panel etc.
Liu adds, "AOC remained committed towards introducing products in this market with practical solutions that take into account the diverse needs of today’s world, whether it is entertainment, gaming, presentations, display or graphic applications. Consumers across the globe demands not just good design functionality, but also wider applications, green credentials, and competitive pricing."
Worldwide, AOC defied the global downturn last year and it shipped 13 million units of LCD monitor, representing an annual growth of 33.4%.
AOC claims 7.5% global market share of the LCD monitor market.
